The company employs more than 30,000 people at approximately 300 locations in North and South America. Role: PROJECT MANAGER, HVAC/Utilities Green Bay, WI. Responsibilities Engineering design and manufacturing support for large-scale HVAC, utility, dust collection capital projects, primarily for the GP Consumer Products tissue mill system. This includes: - Supporting project scope, estimate, schedule, and investment proposal development.
- Equipment specification, bid preparation, evaluation, and selection.
- Conceptual and detailed design work.
- Supporting project budgeting, spending forecasts, project scheduling, and procurement.
- Providing project field support, including construction supervision and equipment commissioning.
- Reporting and communicating on project status.
- Interacting with GP Manufacturing, Procurement, Operations Support, and Business teams.
- Providing oversight of external engineering resources in support of capital projects.
- This job requires up to 20% travel.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Engineering required.
- Minimum of 3 years of project engineering experience required.
- Project Engineering / Management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment required.
Knowledge Skills - Experience in industrial HVAC design for buildings, process equipment, and related utilities / systems desired.
- Knowledge in integrated manufacturing plant utilities (e.g. compressed air, central chillers, steam generation and distribution, and water systems) a plus.
- Professional Engineering license a plus.
- Project Engineering / Management experience in a Pulp and Paper Manufacturing facility a plus.
- Knowledge of and work with ASME, NFPA, IBC and similar codes/standards.
- Ability to evaluate process conditions and provide troubleshooting assistance a plus.
- Must possess interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- Must possess ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
- Must possess computer skills in MS Office software.
- Must possess ability to successfully work in a team environment for both project work and manufacturing support.
- Experience in field support / construction supervision is desired.
