Description

Position: Georgia-Pacific Huntsville is seeking to hire General Labor workers, which is the entry level position in Production. General labor works in a production capacity with an opportunity to advance as openings occur.
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of manufacturing or labor intensive work experience
- Willing and able to wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
- Willing and able to work in a sometimes hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment
- Willing and able to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting
- Previous experience working with computers
- 2 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
