Role: Environmental Associate
The Environmental Associate is an entry level position for someone seeking a career in the Environmental field. This position will work with the Environmental Manager to develop and implement strategies and programs that drive Environmental Excellence. The Environmental Associate will receive hands-on training and practical application of environmental practices at G-P, along with exposure to business and manufacturing processes.
Upon successful review, an associate may move into another position and continue their career as an environmental professional at one of G-Ps 300 facilities.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or other related concentration.
- Knowledge of major technical/regulatory programs, understanding of the importance of environmental management systems, experience with data management and sampling procedures.
- Ability to effectively balance multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational, verbal and written skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year environmental work experience in a manufacturing /industrial setting.
- At least one Environmental internship or co-op position in a manufacturing environment.
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
