Georgia-Pacific is seeking to add a Plant Controller / Manager of Analysis to our organization. While in this high-profile and exciting position, you will be in the forefront of key business decisions in one of the largest private companies in the world.

This key position is responsible for the financial analysis, accounting and internal control processes at their assigned facilities in Albany and Eugene, Oregon.

Responsibilities:

Fiduciary Duties
- Internal financial control environment oversight
- Balance sheet and income statement review and ownership
- Oversight of month-end close process
- Maintaining plant transactional systems

Business Analysis
- Manufacturing and business decision analysis
- Economic decision-making
- Forecasting
- Variance analysis
- Create value through process improvements and analysis on new business, new
equipment and cost reduction initiatives

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor`s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting. Course work must include intermediate Accounting and Cost Accounting.
At least 4 years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
Ability to travel between Albany and Eugene regularly and to Atlanta or other locations as needed for training and conferences.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities:
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Proven capabilities of strong economic thinking and manufacturing analysis needed.
Proficiency with MS Office and computer systems management are desired.
Supervisor experience, proven leadership, communication skills (verbal and written) and planning and organizational skills are desired. Prior Human Resource and/or IT experience a plus.
