This position will be based in our Gypsum plant at Antioch, CA, providing inside sales and customer service for the full line of Gypsum products in the Western Region. The account representative will sell to an assigned customer and/or market base through inbound and outbound communication mediums and identify opportunities to position Georgia-Pacific Gypsum as the preferred supplier because of industry-best product and service level.

Responsibilities
Manage the customer accounts for pre-defined sales territory and respond to customer inquiries for product information, availability, order status, pricing, and invoice reconciliation.
Prospect new accounts and generate profitable incremental business
Monitor daily targets for a respective territory and make outbound customer contact to achieve volume targets
Track inventory levels at specific facilities to ensure stock is adequate to meet demand.
Interact professionally and courteously to all inside and outside customers
Work and function in a team environment


Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, and/or Account Management in a business-to-business environment required
Experience utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel


Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree with business major preferred


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to sit for long periods of time in an office setting using keyboard, computer and phone equipment
