Responsibilities: Help implement a risk management communication & training program that increases risk awareness and educates employees on GP risk philosophy. Partner with business units in the formation of plans & strategies to help them understand risks inherent in future decisions, existing in the business today and provide guidance on managing those risks in a proactive & collaborative manner Develop an analytical & reporting capability to support business risk assessments and customer needs Provide superior service results to all customers Track and support the optimization of the Total Cost of Risk (TCOR) Provide analytical and reporting support for the Workers Compensation, Risk Management and other business groups as necessary Pro-actively reaches out to customers looking for ways to create value
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Statistical proficiency and the ability to think broadly about abstract subject matter Ability to quickly evaluate information, identify key drivers, formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience, and common sense Proven ability to complete complex analysis and present this to senior management in a concise and easily understood manner
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree At least 5 years of experience within a finance/risk role Experience creating financial and statistical models (including monte carlo simulations) Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (V & H Look-ups) Experience analyzing business opportunities and presenting to senior management
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance/ Risk or related field Experience with @Risk statistical software (or similar)
