The qualified applicant that is awarded this job must be able to perform all

necessary job tasks relating to this job in a safe and productive manner. Follow all Safety Procedures, Lockout Procedures, as well as Specific PPE requirements. We are an EOE (M/F/D/V).

Basic Qualifications:

o Eligible to work in the United States for any employer.

o High School Diploma or equivalent.

o At least 6 months manufacturing or labor intensive work experience.

o Willing to work any shift including weekends and overtime

o Willing to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.

o Must wear various types of personal protective equipment. (i.e. hard hat, eye protection, gloves, safety vests, etc.)

o Willing to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time.

o Willing to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment.

o Willing to work in a tobacco-free environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

o One year of industrial/mechanical experience (preferably in the lumber industry).

Key Responsibilities (the following list is not all inclusive and other responsibilities will be assigned as needed):

o Adhere to all plant safety/environmental guidelines, policies and procedures.

o Maintain good equipment uptime by performing preventative maintenance, submitting work requests and assist maintenance.

o Assist co-workers as needed.

o Help meet or exceed production waste and quality goals.

o Keep work area cleaned throughout shift.

o Operate the machine center efficiently and ensure that a quality product is being produced.

o Monitor the rail station and chip trucks to prevent spills and plug ups.

o Must be able to communicate efficiently both oral and written.

o Must be able to work in a team environment .

o Ensure the daily saw changing tasks are being performed on the band saws and the VSA.
