Georgia-Pacific is seeking candidates with advanced knowledge and skills as an Industrial Electrician/Technician, Class C.

Basic skills include:

• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E Arc Flash Standard
• Wide variety of electrical troubleshooting on relays, control switches, conveyors, and interlocking systems
• Able to use Allen Bradley P.L.C. 5, S.L.C. 500, and Control Logic platforms for troubleshooting
• Able to troubleshoot P.L.C. networks and their control of application
• Able to troubleshoot Allen Bradley QB modules
• Able to troubleshoot electrical schematics
• Able to troubleshoot hydraulic schematics and control systems
• Able to troubleshoot pneumatic systems
• Able to troubleshoot MTS tempos sonic probes and software
• Able to troubleshoot for encoders and their control applications
• Able to troubleshoot various types of control systems such as temperature, liquid level, and flow systems
• Able to troubleshoot some HVAC control systems
• Able to attend required training as deemed necessary
• Able to troubleshoot process computers and components
• Able to use various electrical equipment such as oscilloscope, meter, and amp probe
• Strong computer background (PC) including hardware, software, and networking
• Three years of experience as an industrial electrician
• School/Degree/Training in an industrial facility
• PLC experience/training
• Mechanical experience/knowledge

Positions offered will involve shift and weekend work, including nights, with a potential to work on holidays.
