Seeking a highly motivated, knowledgeable and experienced candidate with excellent Maintenance Tech skills who can add value to our Cuba, MO Firedoor Components team. The Maintenance Tech position will be required to diagnose, repair, replace and install plant electrical, electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems for all plant manufacturing and support equipment. The successful applicant will have experience mainitaining, programming, testing, installations with a variety of control system platforms (hardware and software) and industrial control networks. Experience with Allen-Bradley, GE and Siemens PLCs, IFix and RSView HMI software is highly desired. Above all, the successful applicant will have to demonstrate the ability to work in a synergistic team environment, take a high degree of ownership while completing assignments with minimal supervision, clearly and effectively communicate with personnel from all plant groups, successfully manage concurrent maintenance assignments and project priorities, learn new and then apply complex technical concepts, and deliver quality results with attention to detail. Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently troubleshoot, repair and install equipment in compliance with all plant policies and procedures
Qualifications: Required: 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or Maintenance Mechanic or 2 year technical degree or higher in maintenance mechanics or related field and at least 2 years of experience in an electrical/mechanical role in an industrial environment Ability to repair and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pnuematic systems in accordance with mechanical and electrical drawings, operations manuals, PLC programs and manufacturers specifications. Possess advanced skills in both Electrical/electronic and mechanical crafts. Ability to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings Ability to configure, install, write logic for and constructing various PLCs Five years of experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to diagnose and repair PLCs and electronic/electrical systems, Hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other mechanical systems Computer literacy with PC, industrial and PLC computers Comfortable working at heights in excess of 10 above floor level Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a routine basis Available to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as scheduled with short notice High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Ability to produce technical drawings Ability to program, troubleshoot and configure VFDs Advanced troubleshooting training Hydraulics control experience including proportional valve control and logic
