Pulp Mill Leader

Responsibilities:
Providing leadership in the achievement of improved performance in the areas of safety, environmental compliance, customer satisfaction, organizational effectiveness, cost management and asset utilization in the pulping operations area, consistent with the MBM guiding principles
Manage area Manufacturing Engineers to drive process & equipment modifications that result in improved product quality and reduced cost.
Develop pulp mill personnel to support implementation of area improvement process.
Facilitate the development of an asset utilization and capital improvement strategy for the area.
Drive year-over-year improvement in the pulp mill operations, productivity, and net profit.
Assume responsibility for daily pulp mill production.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with 8+ years experience in a pulp mill leadership role in a continuous manufacturing environment.
Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel, functional databases, and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering
Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
Pulp & Paper industry experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
