R&D Engineer/Scientist Atlanta, GA (HQ)

Responsibilities

Lead technical aspects of product development projects from experimentation to commercialization.

Coordinate with pilot plant and mills to plan and conduct trial runs

Work with external partners (suppliers) to evaluate technologies for product and process applications

Interact with customers on new product possibilities and product improvements

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in science or engineering technical field

5+ years of experience in product development

5+ years with specific coating experience

Experience/Background in papermaking and paper properties

Experience designing and leading pilot plant trials and conducting trial work at mill locations

Must be willing and able to travel 30-50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Degree (MS, PhD)

Experience with printing and converting

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
