Sales Representative

Georgia-Pacific is recruiting Account Representative to join our Packaging sales team in Martinsville VA-Asheboro NC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Service key national accounts and have the ability to trouble-shoot any issues.
• Work to improve margins on existing business.
• Identify opportunities, qualify prospective customers and secure new business.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES DESIRED:

• Qualifying new prospects and developing new business to increase customer base and sales/profits
• Growing volume and improving margins with existing customers
• Strong organizational and strategic planning skills
• Self-Initiated and motivated to deliver high-quality results.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to prioritize, multi-task, and effectively solve problems
• Encourage and practice team work, treating others with dignity, respect and honesty.
• Leadership skills and the ability to motivate people
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word (to write business correspondence), Excel (for use of spreadsheets, reporting, simple formulas) and Outlook (for internal and external correspondence).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelors Degree or higher.
• A valid US driver`s license.
• 10 years business to business sales experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years industry specific experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
