Candidates must be able to work any shift, variable start times, including overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled. Candidate must be able to work in a tobacoo free environment.

Basic Qualifications:

o Basic computer and PLC skills

o Demonstrates a basic understanding of maintenance, whether on a previous job or by some form of maintenance training.

o Must be efficient at troubleshooting equipment for mechanical hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues.

o Must be able to cut and weld proficiently

Preferred:

o Ability to troubleshoot Lumber Operations equipment for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and preferred electrical qualifications.

o Advance PLC/5 skills, be able to program and maintain systems

o Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits

o Read and interpret electrical schematics

o Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

o Ability to read structural blueprints and hydraulic schematics

o Capable of troubleshooting and maintain pneumatic systems

o Capable of troubleshooting hydraulic equipment, circuits and components

o Demonstrated leadership or potential leadership skills

Key Responsibilities:

o Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines and policies and procedures

o Troubleshoot, repair and maintain sawmill equipment for improved reliability and uptime.

o Assist co-workers and work in a team environment

o Maintain highest level of housekeeping standards for the facility
