Responsibilities:
o Accountable for meeting and optimizing the production plan, consistent with MBM guiding principles.
o Define current capability of converting lines using Operations Excellence criteria (MAC).
o Set and communicate target operating efficiency/ production rates and drive long term improvement.
o Communicate current capability to business line based on production plan and equipment status.
o Participate in plans to improve current capability and new business initiatives.
o Convert business line plan into daily operating plan.
o Communicate current changeover schedule.
o Work with AAL and support resources to ensure reliability gaps are identified and resolved.
o Track actual production vs. plan.
o Ensure business line, operations, and supply chains are fully coordinated.
o Determine business costs of proposed outages.
Basic Qualifications:
o High School Diploma or GED required
o BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Pulp and Paper Science, or other related field preferred
o Minimum of 5 years converting tissue experience required
o Knowledge of converting equipment/ operations required.
o Project Management experience preferred
o Prior supervision or leadership experience preferred
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities:
o Fundamental economic skills
o Leadership, facilitation and communication skills
o Understanding of the converting process
o Strong interpersonal and technical troubleshooting skills
o Strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills
o Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel to create reports
