Asst Women's Volleyball Coach / Volunteer
Job Location: Garden City, KS
Job Type: Part Time
Work Schedule:
12-month position. Employee shall volunteer 25-30 hours per week coaching volleyball.
Scope Of Job:
Work 25-30 hours per week performing all duties expected of a college coach, including recruiting and coordinating practice schedules; along with game management responsibilities. Assistant coach has the opportunity for paid campus employment via the Wellness Center and sports marketing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Collegiate or other highly competitive playing experience preferred.
Assignment:
Reports to the Head Volleyball Coach and through the coach to the Athletic Director and the College President.
Salary:
Coaching position is an unpaid, volunteer position. Other campus opportunities listed above are hourly positions, wage based on qualifications and experience.
The opportunity for paid campus employment via the Wellness Center and sports marketing is available. Wages for these positions are based on the minimum and/or desirable qualifications. And will be paid monthly on or about the 10th of the month.
Retirement: Employee is covered by the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS). Employee contributes 4% of gross.
Life Insurance: Term life insurance equal to 1.5 times annual salary provided by KPERS.
Benefits: May, at employee's discretion, take part in the matching tax-sheltered plan with TIAA-CREF.
Starting Date:
Immediately. Position will remain open until filled.
