Network Manager
Job Location: Garden City, KS
Scope Of Job:
Responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of local and wide-area networks. Provides support for college personnel regarding the networks. Assists other computer services personnel with problems as they arise.
Qualifications:
A minimum of five years experience with personal computers and software, including Windows NT and Microsoft Office, required. Certifications in Network Plus, MCSA, MCSE or evidence of work toward certification preferred.
Assignment:
This full-time position reports to the Director of Information Technology and through the director to the Executive Dean of Administrative Services and to the College President.

Salary:
Based on qualifications and experience. Paid monthly by the end of the month by direct deposit to your bank account.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 12-month position. Must be available to work occasional evening and weekend hours.

Sick Leave:
10 days per year accrues to 60 days total. Paid sick leave not available until after successful completion of 60 days of continuous employment.
Vacation:
Earned at the rate of one day per month during years one through five of continuous employment, and 1.25 days per month thereafter. Paid vacation not available until after successful completion of six months of continuous employment.
Retirement:
Employee is covered by the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS). Employee contributes 4% of gross.
Life Insurance:
$15,000 group term life insurance provided by Board, plus 1.5 times annual salary group term life insurance provided by KPERS.
Health Insurance:
Board provides up to $367.88 per month for a use-it-or-lose-it health insurance benefit through GCCC-sponsored health insurance plan.
Benefits:
Internal Revenue Code Section 125 Cafeteria Salary Reduction Plan allows employee to reduce compensation in amount necessary to purchase from nontaxable benefits contained in the plan and selected by the employee, including health (hospitalization) insurance, cancer insurance, short-term disability (salary protection) insurance, medical expense reimbursement, dependent (child) care reimbursement.
May, at employee's discretion, take part in the matching tax-sheltered 403(b) plan with TIAA-CREF.
Free GCCC tuition for self, spouse, and dependents (children) who are 21 years of age or younger and are financially supported by the respective staff member.
Free pass for self and immediate family members to college-sponsored activities.
Free use of Super Circuit facility for employee.
