Job Description:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
To effectively manage and market food service facility.
To provide quality service and products for Subway customers.
To promote and market Goodwills Mission through positive responses from students and employers.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To manage the operations of the Subway franchise as a profitable Goodwill food service training restaurant.
- To be knowledgeable of DHEC regulations and assist in keeping restaurant in compliance in areas such as: cleaning, food preparation and storage, disposing of outdated items, etc.
- To provide great customer service and train/role model correct behaviors toward customers.
- To maintain a positive working relationship and communication with Subway headquarters and Regional personnel.
- To properly operate a cash register and make appropriate hourly safe deposits.
- To perform general housekeeping and custodial duties as may be scheduled and assigned.
Education: Prefer High School diploma with additional certification in food service.
Work Experience & Skills: Experience in food service operations, training disabled/disadvantaged individuals and previous supervisory experience required. The successful individuals should possess competencies in the following fundamental skills set: basic math, cash register proficiency, listening, and observation. Must have valid and current SC Drivers License with limited points for violations.
