Summary of Qualifications Required:
High school graduate with general knowledge and some experience in law enforcement, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to successfully complete the prescribed course of study at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Training Academy and Field Training. Able to participate in physical fitness activities. Able to maintain required level of proficiency in the use of firearms and evasive action/driving skills. Minimum 21 years of age. Valid SC Driver's License; no criminal record; good credit report. Clear FBI/SLED background.
