1^st Major Area of Responsibility Developing & Stabilizing

(Key Duties)

• Design and develop information processing applications to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  
• Support and maintain custom and vendor provided business applications.
  
• Collaborate with business area to develop, coordinate and execute test plans to ensure successful project deployment.
  
• Communicate with technical and functional personnel
  
• Coordinating project tasks and activities.
  

2^nd Major Area of Responsibility Envisioning & Planning

(Key Duties)

• Apply Grande stage-gate framework and project management methodology.
  
• Collaborate with functional and technical personnel to create statements of work based on project requests, work breakdown structures, project schedule, technical and functional specifications, and appropriate deployment documentation.
  
• Exercise judgment within generally defined best practice processes and procedures in selecting methods and techniques for providing solutions.
  

3^rd Major Area of Responsibility Production Support

(Key Duties)

• Proactively assists in the management of Grandes business applications.
  
• Troubleshoot both internal and third party business applications to resolve issues.
  
• Lead issue identification, investigation, ownership, communication and resolution process.
  

4^th Area of Responsibility All other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

• Continually develops skills and abilities to keep them relevant and current.
  
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
  

Education

• Requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related computer oriented degree.
  

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the development, maintenance and support of business applications.
  
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience with Dynamics AX (Dynamics AX 4.0 and/or Dynamics AX 2012).
  

Job Skills Requirements

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft oriented development tools and platforms including but not limited to .Net, and SQL Server. This includes client and web based applications.
  
• Strong experience and knowledg in maintaining and supporting vendor provided business applications.
  
• Requires some experience in project management including definition, planning and estimating, status reporting.
