We are currently taking applications for a Line Cook position in our Dining & Nutrition Services Department. This position is responsible for assisting with the preparation and service of menu items, following standard recipes and special diet orders. Plans large quantity food production to coordinate with meal service in a health care environment, so that quality, temperature and appearance of food is preserved. May assist chefs in food preparation. Is required to prepare and plate entire meals on own for a variety of meals and caterings. May need to plan and prepare daily specials in a restaurant setting.
Hours are available between 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and 4:30 to 8:00 pm and will include some weekend hours.

Three years previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or club with dining preferred. Culinary degree preferred. ServSafe certification is required within 30 days of hire.
