Prepares, portions and serves a variety of hot food, cold food and desserts according to production plans and standardized recipes. Performs food preparation duties and specialties according to assigned kitchen area (patient food production and room service). Adequately labels and stores food according to DHEC.

High School Diploma or equivalent with two (2) years eline cook experience in hospital, restaurant or hotel setting required; OR, two (2) years experience, 2 years of culinary training at an approved school. Must be knowledgeable of the use, care and sanitation of various kitchen equipment.
