Responsible for personnel management, planning, organizing, and directing activities of the GMH imaging capture process. Assists in planning and implementing Medical Information Imaging System in other GHS facilities. Directs the file room employees in the functions of providing medical information for patient care and hospital approved record review. Responsible for ensuring medical records are completed timely and adhere to JCAHO, Medical Staff and other regulatory requirements. Assists Director in establishing and maintaining the process of ongoing record review for all GHS facilities.

High School Diploma or equivalent with six (6) years experience in Medical Information in a healthcare setting with at least two (2) years in a lead or coordinator capacity, OR, Associate`s Degree in Health Information Management with two (2) years experience in a lead or coordinator capacity, and Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or RHIA credentialed by AHIMA required.
