Vice President / Investment Executive

Job Location: Delray Beach, FL

Shift: Delray Beach, FL

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Investment Services Manager, the Investment Executive is responsible for managing client investment relationships including such activities as sales, compliance, marketing, implementation of policies & procedures, calling program with other colleagues and growing the portfolio.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Will develop an ongoing calling program for targeting important prospects and influencers in the markets of the communities we serve
* Promotes the Bank in a positive and profitable manner through community involvement activities
* Implements programs for sales promotions & seminars (for clients, prospects, groups) to meet needs
* Calls on important prospects and existing accounts
* Prepares reports for senior management
* Works with other department managers in the bank as part of the strategic management team of the overall bank
* Conducts reviews as appropriate for client relationship & type of accounts
* Supervisor of assistant and other sale registered representative(s). Other supervisory duties & responsibilities may increase as the department grows and is expanded. Such duties include mentoring, training, hiring, coaching, supervising, conducting HR related activities (reviews), etc.
* Works closely with 3rd party broker-dealer and other vendors whose products/services GIMs utilizes
* Recommends new products through identifiable customer needs
* Works with Relationship Bankers/Managers by provide training and guidance in providing quality customer service, continual referrals, increasing client retention & enhancing overall profitability.
* Obtains current and updated financial information from each client as required
* Assists with the implementation of the marketing and public relations program for GIMS
* Assures compliance with established policies and procedures of GSBB, broker-dealer, NASD, SEC and another regulatory agency overseeing this dept and/or the bank
* Handles complex customer service problems
* Works closely with SVP of Private & Executive Banking to ensure department is reaching targeted goals, following policies/procedures, conducting staff meetings, preparing for presentations, etc
* Performs any other related duties as required
* Performs customer service by responding to client requests & inquiries, coordinates trades, problem resolution and follow up, and all other service related issues.
* Coordinates and implements sales & education seminars
* Assists Investment Manager(s) in all areas relative to sales, i.e. presentations, new accounts, appointment setting, etc.
* Performs a variety of administrative duties; processes new account paperwork, maintains various ledgers & logs, client files, etc.
* Prepares and maintains reports and client contact management system
* Perform other related duties as assigned

Candidate Profile:

Gulfstream Business Bank is looking for an individual with:
* A minimum of 3-5 years prior successful investment sales experience as a broker and/or investment manager in a brokerage firm, investment firm, broker-dealer or insurance broker-dealer,
* Insurance license (Life, Health & Variable Annuity) and Series 7 and Series 65 or 66
* CFP or CRPS Designation preferred, but not required
* Investment /brokerage knowledge - products, structuring, investment options, financial terms in the industry, etc.
* Must be computer literate including internet and excellent MS Office experience.
* Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work successfully with all levels of staff and management is essential.
* A TEAM PLAYER attitude and professional appearance/demeanor is essential.

Draw + commission
