Relationship Banker

Position Summary:
The Relationship Banker is responsible for sales & service of business and personal banking relationships.
Job duties include, but are not limited to,
providing prompt and courteous service to customers by performing the following:
* Sells bank services (deposit/loan/fee products) to new and existing customers
* Provides front line daily customer service to new and existing customers; includes stop payments, wire transfers, official checks, change of address, new signers, etc.
* Maintains fluency in all aspects of bank's available business products such as deposit accounts, lockbox services, merchant accounts
* Opens new accounts; performs follow up on check orders, ATMs/statements
* Follows up on referrals from RM's regarding opening new deposit accounts
* Makes calls to the company's key contacts
* Maintains customer information files in the system and via hard copy
* Makes sales calls on "warm lead" prospects relative to niche customer lists
* Cross sells, processes, documents, close and follow up on installment loans and credit cards
* Other duties as assigned
Candidate Profile:
Gulfstream Business Bank is looking for an individual with exceptional sales and service skills. A minimum of 5 years retail or commercial bank experience, product sales, and small business relationship management is desired. The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain confidentiality and be skilled in the operation of banking software applications, MS Office products, and standard office equipment. Must be organized, and posses effective communication skills. A TEAM PLAYER attitude and professional appearance/demeanor is essential. Bachelor's degree preferred.
