Consultant

• Maintain technical awareness of assembly systems and practices and provide a high level of expertise in equipment characteristics, application, and operation. Plans and or leads engineering changes.
• Plans, directs and coordinates assembly processes, tools, fixtures and equipment for designated area of responsibility within assembly. Lead special projects as assigned including equipment/structure modifications within areas of responsibility.
• Leads any special projects and or self initiated projects for continuous improvement, structural planning and or related planning projects.
• Evaluate production times, staffing requirements and related cost to provide information to leadership about production schedules.
• Strong Knowledge of Torque, Atlas Copco and Automated Fastener Confirmation Systems

• BSME, BSEE, BSIE, or equivalent, preferably with a strong emphasis on manufacturing
• One to three or more years of manufacturing experience. Manufacturing and production systems knowledge along with experience working with cross functional departments is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills a must
• Computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, apply statistical methods to aid with process analysis using quality planning tools.
• Fluency in English language required. Foreign language ability a plus.
