Job Description:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for administering and coordinating housekeeping functions in assigned sections, as well as for assuming all Housekeeping Manager functions in her absence. Inspecting staff's work performance within assigned section on a daily basis to assure that standards and productivity levels are being met and maintained. In the absence of the Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Housekeeping Manager, inspecting all VIP rooms and reporting their availability to the Front Office by 1:00 pm. Overseeing the organized closing of the floors at the end of the day, ensuring the Room Attendants' carts are clean and restocked with linen only. Ensuring record of daily assignments are complete, signed off on and turned into the Housekeeping Office on time. Maintaining key control system. Supervising all staff in Laundry and Housekeeping. Handling "Lost and Found" according to standards.
Job Requirements:
Long hours sometimes required. Medium work - exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to stand during entire shift.
