Our company is in the process of hiring contractors in the Ellis and surrounding four counties to verify residential property for occupancy and current condition.

Each inspector is assigned a predetermined zone to manage with jobs automatically assigned according to zip code.

Inspection results from field representatives provide banks and mortgage service companies information as to the condition of their homes. Damage from weather or vandalism can decrease the value of property quickly when it is left unprotected.

This position is ideal for someone looking to earn supplemental income or who wants to begin as part-time and be considered for full-time positions as they become available. Inspectors are needed all across Ellis and the surrounding four counties for immediate opportunities.

Training is provided, most of which is on-line via tutorials and videos, and can be completed based on the flexibility of the inspector`s schedule.

Inspectors can typically complete dozens of inspections per day (stops) which usually take approximately 6 hours to complete, including data input. Our goal is to only assign jobs in zip codes that are close to home so inspectors can get to any job in a timely manner. Our company pays by direct deposit (ACH) twice a month for each quality inspection completed. Inspectors are currently earning anywhere between $25 and $45 per hour worked.

No inspection license or prior experience is required, but applicants must be highly-organized, self-motivated individuals with reliable personal transportation who can visit and take photos of properties and input results utilizing an online inspection software system.

Requirements:

- Availability during daylight hours
- Possession of iPhone or Android phone with camera functionality is ideal, but not mandatory
- Reliable vehicle with clean driving record
- Reliable desktop or laptop with high speed internet access and Microsoft Streets and Trips software to assist in planning daily route
- A GPS unit (e.g. Garmond) or GPS via smart phone is helpful, but not required
