Responsibilities
Position Summary / Job Description:
This Finance candidate will be responsible for Accounting and Compliance tasks, including supporting the Accounting and USG Rates Leads in the closing process and monitoring internal control systems relied on the by the USG in conducting business with the Company. Responsibilities also include preparing and reporting the actual results for the direct and indirect rates used in military pricing, billing and accounting. Responsibilities in the Compliance area include assistance with the resolution of USG issues and findings in the DCAA audits of internal control systems, Cost Accounting Standards, Disclosure Statements and cost or rate proposals. Candidate must possess a high degree of credibility and confidence in communication for high level of direct customer interface.
Required Skills:
Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
Accounting aptitude with experience in accounting/analysis
Command of Microsoft applications
Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of SAP and public accounting experience
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years related work experience
Preferred Education:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters preferred
