Position Summary
Provide subject matter expertise to develop, document, and implement technical data packages for sheet metal, and sub-assemblies. As a subject matter expert, expected to provide technical guidance and project planning/execution for engineering, manufacturing processes and specification requirements to best utilize available equipment and manufacturing techniques. The position requires the ability to interface with production personnel, management, engineering, quality, tooling and other company functions in the performance of his/her duties. Ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data by creating macros, pivot tables and Access databases. Develop cost analysis by retrieving standard hours, material cost and applying production rates. Some travel will be required as part of this position to support suppliers/partners.

TOP THREE (3) PRIORITIES:
Applying a structured methodology to resolve supplier producibility issues
Create CRs as needed
Provide technical guidance for suppliers

SUCCESS MEASURES:
Resolve 100% of supplier-related product and conformity issues
Pro-active approach toward design for cost
Achieve all required changes to meet CR effectivities

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Estimated cost-benefit analysis, tooling conflict resolution, process improvement projects, cost savings initiatives, data analysis, etc.)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering with at least 10 years of related experience (two years of directly related experience is equivalent to one year of university level education)
Must comprehend blueprints and task planning pertaining to assembly level detail
Demonstrated experience with complex assemblies
Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability in meeting performance goals and objectives
Problem solving and root cause identification skills, with strong analytic and decision making abilities
Excellent team player and able to operate independently
Ability to work effectively with all levels in an organization
Excellent active listening skills

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
Demonstrated experience with King Air & Piston Wing assemblies
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft programs (including Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
Experience with use of SAP
Proven desire to reduce operating costs and improve margin
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is desirable
