Pediatrician Opportunity in Beautiful Southern Oregon

Job Location: Grants Pass, Oregon. Located 60 miles north of the California border.

Mild. Annual rainfall is 30 inches. Yearly mean temperature is 52 degrees.

PRACTICE TYPE
High volumes have created the need to add another Pediatrician to this group of 3 physicians and one nurse practitioner. This is the busiest practice in the community and they anticipate continued growth. The incoming physician is expected to do very well.

AGREEMENT CONTRACT TYPE
The incoming physician will be employed by the group and will embark on a partnership track.

INCOME EXPECTATION
Competitive starting salary of $130,000. $20,000 for sign on and relocation. Bonus potential the first year based on defined goals. 4 weeks of vacation annually. Some of the benefits include malpractice, AAP dues, OMA dues, health and dental insurance and a 401K.

SCHEDULE
4 day work week. The call is 1:7 or 1:8

This is a very collegial group of physicians who have worked together well for years. They are well respected by their medical colleagues in the community and enjoy a very collaborative environment.

HOSPITAL INFO.
The hospital is part of a not for profit healthcare system that consists of two hospitals. The one in Grants Pass is licensed for 125 beds and just opened in June, 2001. It is a state- of -the art facility and enjoys tremendous community support.

The area is known for its whitewater rafting, riverboating, hiking, running, biking, and much more. Southern Oregon offers a temperate four-season climate, approximately 19 inches of annual rainfall, and a lot of attraction for someone who appreciates the outdoors. The best known features of the region are: Southern Oregon University, the Ashland Shakespeare Festival, the Britt Music Festival, Crater Lake National Park, and the Rogue River. There are a multitude of wonderful recreational opportunities for your entire family. Tee off in 5 minutes, or be on the slopes, fishing, or rafting in 10 minutes. Drive to the spectacular Oregon coast within 1 hour or fly to San Francisco or Portland in 55 minutes. It is 1.5 hours from the beach and 45 minutes from the mountains and skiing.

PRACTICE BENEFITS
