Transportation CADD Technician II
Job Location: Dunmore, PA
Description:
The Transportation CADD Technician II is responsible for utilizing computer-aided drafting (CAD) techniques and software to efficiently producing quality plans and profiles for civil engineering and transportation design work relating to highway, traffic/signaling, bridge, intersection improvement, parking facilities and structural systems for a multi-office engineering firm's varied projects. Working closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineer(s), the Transportation CADD Technician II ensures coordination and adherence to the firm's standards while working as a member of the project team to deliver the best engineering solutions for clients. The Transportation CADD Technician II possesses two to four years experience.
If candidate has an Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design, two-plus years of experience is required. Previous experience specific to civil and/or transportation engineering is preferred. The Transportation CADD Technician II has proficient knowledge of Microstation software. Primary drafting duties will include, but not be limited to: transportation, highway, traffic/signaling, bridge, intersection improvement, parking facilities and structural systems design projects. Working knowledge of highway and traffic-related software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite is required. This position requires travel to job sites, meetings, and regional offices as necessary. The Transportation CADD Technician II has the legal right to work in the U.S.
