Business Development Intern
Job Location: Harrisburg, PA
Description:
The purpose of the Business Development (BD) team is to generate sales leads for all business areas. In the process, the Business Development Intern is expected to learn the services offered by HRG, as well as become proficient in recognizing opportunities where these services can fulfill a business need of the client they are contacting. Continued success in the Business Development role can lead to other opportunities at HRG, ranging from Business Development Coordinator, Business Development Specialist, Regional/Service Group Business Development Manager to Business Development Manager.
Qualifications:
The Business Development Intern is a student pursuing an Associates or Bachelors degree in the field of Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications Qualifications include knowledge of proposal development, research, proof-reading and editing, prioritizing multiple assignments, database management, excellent communication (written and oral) and organizational skills. The Business Development Intern has working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (marketing industry-related computer and software applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, PageMaker, and Indesign is a plus). Must be able to function independently or with minimum direction and have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. The Business Development Intern has the legal right to work in the U.S.
