Summary:
The Bridge Design Engineer is responsible for bridge/structural design and project management for a multi-office engineering firm.
The Bridge Design Engineer possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with a transportation/structures emphasis, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Professional Engineering license, and 5 to 15 years structural design/engineering and project experience. Qualifications include PENNDOT design procedures; bridge design and project experience; NBIS bridge inspection and bridge rehabilitation plans and specifications. Construction administration and inspection of bridge projects is a plus. Design experience with other structural systems such as buildings, retaining walls, and tanks are a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and MicroStation is required. The Bridge Design Engineer is a leader and team player possessing strong skills in communication, planning and organization. This position requires travel to job sites, meetings, and regional offices.
