Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience and/or training with healthcare information systems and terminology
• Minimum of two (2) years experience with the application, module or equivalent system as assigned
• Advanced knowledge of the assigned application in at least one functional area (e.g. orders, materials management, etc.)
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Two (2) years experience with the application, module or equivalent system as assigned
• Ability to assist junior staff with completion of assigned tasks.
Job Description:
The Applications Analyst is responsible for configuring, testing, implementing and supporting the clinical, financial, administrative and other healthcare information systems used for the delivery of patient care and other supporting functions of the organization. These systems include but are not limited to:
• Clinical applications such as documentation, orders/results, Emergency Department (ED) and Pharmacy
• Ancillary applications such as lab, radiology and cardiology
• Revenue Cycle applications such as patient access and billing
• Financial Applications such as materials management, payroll and human resources
• Other IT applications including facilities and help desk
