MUST BE EKG CERTIFIED.
Completion of basic arrhythmia course and/or successfully pass ECG test required.
Proof of Clerical Coordinator Course or equivalent hospital work experience (including knowledge of medical terminology).
H.S. diploma or equivalent.
Job Description:
Maintains clerical organization within the unit including the processing of orders for tests, procedures and special requests. Prioritizes and transcribes orders in an accurate, timely and efficient manner. Monitors telemetry and notifies R.N. of ECG abnormalities.
