Job Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey

Duties:

Manage key account technical support and service as well as implementation projects at customer sites; develop strategies for new technologies implementation and business growth; address customer requests and responses regarding product performance and regulatory matters; provide product recommendations, new product demonstrations, and troubleshooting for customers; report technical results and prepare customer presentations; work with application equipment to provide solutions to enhance customer adhesive related processes; collaborate and build relationships with OEMs and allied suppliers; supervise laboratory work for samples coming from customers and report technical results to customers; quantify and report solution value to customers; share best practices and train field salesforces and customers, regionally and globally; document all tickets, visits and value in ACE; lead APP Flexible Laminating projects for key accounts within NE sales territory and contribute to project plans and goals; directly communicate with sales, application specialists and other field teams; drive regional APP Flexible Laminating technical direction based on customer and market expertise; and play lead role at major customers for North America.

Requirements:               

Bachelor's degree in chemical, industrial or technology management engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and seven (7) years of experience in key account management, including technical sales support and product portfolio development aligned to customer base or, alternatively, a Master’s degree in chemical, industrial or technology management engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience in key account management, including technical sales support and product portfolio development aligned to customer base. Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): technical service representative supervision and management; aligning product to customer based on product availability, performance and cost; designing and implementing customer process audits; trouble-shooting, root cause analysis and solution design using 8D, 5W’s and Kepner-Tregoe methodologies; product portfolio development in collaboration with sales, marketing, customer, legal and laboratory teams; and flexible laminates product offering. Travel in North America, approximately 50-60%. Occasional global, cross-region travel. Salary: $132,440.00/yr.
