Description:
Lake Havasu City, Arizona, along the Colorado River. Small town life, a great place to raise your family, short drive to Vegas, Phoenix and California. Bask in the year-round warmth with an average yearly temperature between 60-89 degrees. Home of the historic London Bridge.
Job Summary:
CNA's provide compassionate personal care to patients at the end-of-life in the home setting, with their comfort as your top priority. Under the direction of a nurse case manager, CNA's follow the patient's care plan. Light housekeeping may be included in assigned duties.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Hospice philosophy of care
- Provides personal care of patients including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, eating, ambulating or toileting
- Maintain a safe environment for the patient including food preparation, cleaning, laundry, changing bed linens and housekeeping
- Maintain timely records of patient care, condition, progress, and problems in order to report and discuss observations with case manager
Qualifications:
- High diploma or GED certificate
- Current Arizona CNA certification
- Current Adult CPR certification
- Two years professional CNA experience; less considered, if hospice specific
- Availability to be scheduled any day of the week
- Ability to work overtime as requested by supervisor
- Reliable transportation

Compensation:
$10.07-15.00 per hour, D.O.E., plus mileage
