Summary:
HR Anew is a full service human resources management consulting and professional services firm headquartered in Columbia, MD. Our client (government contractor), is seeking skilled HRIS Analysts for a long term contract (5yr), in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Provide system architectural expertise.
• Provide input, related to the identification of business and technical requirements, driving resolutions on issues, outstanding decisions and risk pertaining to same.
• Act as a key business partner with statewide HR divisions and IT using extensive knowledge of HRIS delivered functionality, configuration, and architecture to provide user expertise.
• Recommend best practice solutions for business processes and application design.
• Lead requirements analysis workshops and documentation efforts
• Gather and document architecture requirements for system configuration, internal and external interfaces, reporting, workflow and security for business processes.
• Develop a Conceptual Architecture Diagram that creates the high-level organizing structure of the new system, identifies architectural components and their responsibilities and relationships. Must validate that the architecture meets stakeholder goals, and where it does not, assess the impact.
• Work with the selected implementation contractor to gather detailed design and configuration specifications, requirements validation, issue resolution, coordination of project activities and user testing efforts.
• Assist in the evaluation of proposals in response to solicitations.
• Attend regular project status meetings to review project progress and present risks including issues and constraints that are impeding or may impede project performance. Provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Prepare and issue weekly project status reports covering all pending and current project activities. The weekly status report shall include the status, hours worked, risks and issues identified during the reporting period, and action items for week pending.
• Identify impacts that changes to system configuration will have on integrated systems and existing internal and external interfaces.

Requirements:
• B.S. degree in Business, Information Systems, HR or related area
• 4+ yrs HRIS experience required; experience in HR systems administration
• Knowledge of several of the following: VISIO, Lawson, BusinessObjects, Crystal Reports,
PeopleSoft or Oracle HR, SuccessFactors, Trovix, HTML, SQL, Excel Macros, Outlook forms, or Access queries
• Strong understanding of and experience in implementing HRIS and ERP systems (Oracle or PeopleSoft strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Finance and IT business processes as well as intra and inter-departmental functions and interdependencies.
• State of MD experience
• Ability to provide examples of 2 to projects.
• MS Office Applications including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under the pressure of deadlines
• Strong orientation toward customer service.
• Able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate with all levels of management.
• Self-directed and able to work independently.
• Highest regard for confidentiality and high ethical standards required.
• Willingness to jump into a variety of projects; Flexibility.
• Leadership skills and ability to work as a member of a team.
• Ability to manage change effectively always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies preferred.
