Environmental Engineer/Compliance Specialist

Description
HRP Associates, Inc. is full service environmental engineering consulting firm with offices in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Florida. We are continuing our nationwide expansion program with the opening a new regional office in the Parkwood Crossing Business Park, just north of downtown Indianapolis, in June 2008. From this location we will serve a large backlog of client projects (30+) in Indiana, as well as up to 50 additional projects in the surrounding states.
In order to serve the environmental compliance needs of our clients we have an immediate opening for an environmental compliance specialist with a BS/MS and 3-10 years experience. Pertinent educational backgrounds include civil/environmental engineering, geology, hydrogeology, environmental science and related sciences. Areas of expertise predominantly to include: air, hazardous waste, UST/AST compliance, site assessments, soil and groundwater compliance and permitting issues, with a working knowledge of industrial hygiene, wastewater, solid waste, soil and groundwater investigations. Additional experience in compliance auditing, Environmental Management Systems, Brownfields, OSHA Health & Safety, and compliance training is a major plus.
Responsibilities include field work, audits, data analysis, report writing and client management, with additional responsibilities/opportunities in marketing and business development.
