Description: Prefer experience but willing to train in operating feed equipment used to feed cattle. Ability to operate feed truck and tractors in feeding cattle in a bunk line operation. Experience in animal health is desired. Some farming may be required in production of corn silage. Duties may include feeding, watering, herding, weighing, catching, and loading animals. Will maintain records on animals to detect diseases. May administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. May clean and maintain animal housing areas. Hours and days to be discussed at interview but generally 50 hours a week. Salary will depend on experience and qualifications. Health Insurance provided. Production bonuses and other benefits / housing to be discussed at interview. Work site is 25 miles east of Huron.
