Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for collecting, understanding and documenting business requirements and translating these into functional specifications. Analyze and document business processes. Develop functional and system design specifications. Document work flows and results of business analysis and obtain approvals as needed. Partner with the business, development team and any third party regarding software functionality throughout the development life cycle. Coordinate testing with Quality Assurance team. Champion best practices in business analysis and software development life cycle methodology. Proactively seek opportunities to broaden understanding of the business and suggests areas of improvement. Develop short-term work schedules and priorities for individual tasks. Ensure deliverables adhere to standards, meet specifications and are delivered on schedule.
Qualifications:
The best candidate for the Business Analyst Opportunity will have the following qualifications:
* At least 3 years experience in a business analysis role.
* 1 or more years of project management experience.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
* Must be process oriented and demonstrate a rational and organized approach to completing tasks, producing required documentation and reporting project status.
* Must have prior hands-on experience creating requirements documents, design specifications documents, use cases and test cases.
