Senior Auditor

Overview:
AQYR, Inc., Executive Search has partnered with a long-standing professional CPA firm to hire a Senior Auditor. This position is responsible for contributing to the achievement of our client's audit group. The Senior Auditor will report to the Executive in charge of governmental audits. A successful auditor will have completed the following at the end of one year of service: Completed the audit and review engagements assigned to them, received positive feedback from clients and supervisors, and exhibited the actions and positive attitude in participation in the other aspects of the firm. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Direct and review the work of staff accountants.
* Collaborating with the audit group to develop innovative practices.
* Adhere to the required standards.
* Manage client accounts with little supervision.
* Understand the rules, requirements, code of conduct and standards of the AICPA and the literature established by the FASB, GASB and the Kansas Municipal Accounting Guide.
* Financial statement preparation.
Qualifications:
CPA Certificate
5 years of audit experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive Attitude
