Overview:
AQYR Inc., an executive search firm specializing in the placement of aerospace professionals, has partnered with an international leader in aircraft manufacturing to recruit an Engineer Aircraft and Performance DER. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that will support the development of a new aircraft. This is a permanent, full time position with an outstanding benefits package. Located in Wichita, Kansas.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of flight test definition sheets; performance flight test monitoring and data analysis; performance calculations; computer modeling of airplane and power plant; preparation of AFM data, pilot's manual and certification reports
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering
DER or DER Candidate with approval authority for airplane and engine performance
Fortran programming capability preferred
Flight test experience preferred
UNIX experience preferred
Some travel
