This is a key role within their organization and requires a candidate with solid knowledge in corporate and partnership income tax compliance and experience within a professional tax role. Responsibilities:
The Tax Analyst will be responsible for working with internal accounting groups as well as collaborating with outside CPA firms in the preparation and review of the tax accounting and federal, state and foreign tax compliance for the business. Ensure proper tax treatment of business related issues. Prepare responses to federal and state audit requests. Assist with various tasks related to the corporate oversight of tax compliance procedures.
- Prepare / manage preparation and review federal, state and foreign compliance, including returns and quarterly estimates
- Prepare responses to federal and state IDRs and notices
- Review FAS 109 tax accounting on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Assist with tax planning initiatives
Qualifications:
The best candidate for the Tax Analyst opportunity will have the following qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in a professional tax role.
- Must have corporate and partnership income tax compliance experience.
- Prefer FAS 109 accounting experience for income taxes.
- Prefer experience with U.S. reporting for controlled foreign entities.
- Must have Bachelor degree in accounting
- Prefer Masters Degree
- Prefer CPA
