Position Overview:

The Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt is responsible for establishing and maintaining the Lean Six Sigma strategy for Hubbell Lighting Inc and will report to the VP of Operations. Focus will be to lead projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business. In this role you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, lead cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall services business strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall Lean Six Sigma leadership for Hubbell Lighting Inc.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership team to develop and improve key focus areas, Big Ys
• Work with operating leaders to develop project deployment strategy, goal, and priorities
• Provide leadership and direction to Black Belts and Lean resources in executing the Lean Six Sigma strategy for breakthrough levels of improvement in customer satisfaction, process capability, and quality
• Train, recruit and develop a team of Black Belts
• Indirect responsibility of Plant LPO`s
• Manage Lean Six Sigma employee training and engagement
• Lead Continuous Improvement projects to deliver results for the business
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve process capability, reduce time to market and eliminate defects throughout the business
• Conduct regular project reviews with assigned Black Belts to assure accomplishment of key results
• Educate and coach others on Lean Six Sigma philosophy and application
• Serve as change agent by stimulating, communicating, and institutionalizing Lean Six Sigma initiative
• Communicate teams` progress to Champions and Business Leaders
• Seek, share, and institutionalize best practices

Qualifications include:

• A Bachelor`s degree is required, with an MBA or Master`s degree a plus.
• Master Black Belt (Certified) is needed.
• Minimum 5 (+) years of experience in either Lean Six Sigma, operations, services, or quality.
• Minimum 2 (+) years experience with statistics and lean six sigma tools.
