Overview:

The position performs a variety of miscellaneous cost accounting duties, including, but not limited to the following tasks:

Requirements:

• Support in the preparation and taking of the annual physical inventory.
• Support in the valuation of the annual physical inventory.
• Support in establishing new standard costs
• Prepare selective year end schedules
• Assist in preparation of the business plan
• Support quarterly reporting requirements
• Assist in preparation of quarterly updates
• Prepare cost related journal entries
• Prepare monthly inventory analysis
• Prepare cycle count reporting
• Participate in monthly cost of sales review
• Prepare monthly labor reporting and variance analysis
• Process hourly employee payroll
• Review purchase orders and purchase price variance
• Maintain item master cost information
• Perform custom BOM cost roll-ups

Qualifications:

• Qualified individuals must be detail-oriented and self-starting.
• They should be organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Individuals must have a mathematical aptitude and a basic knowledge of manufacturing operations.
• They should possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• This position will require coordination with all levels of the management team.
• Individuals must be comfortable using a personal computer and possess a good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Previous experience using SAP and Kronos is a plus.
• Candidates must have a two year college degree or equivalent work experience. A four year degree is preferred.
