Hubbell Lighting, headquartered in Greenville, SC, is a core business platform of Hubbell Incorporated. The platform supplies a comprehensive range of indoor and outdoor lighting products to industrial, commercial and institutional applications and is the largest manufacturer of residential lighting fixtures in North America. We are currently seeking two talented international business professionals to train for a Sales role by participating in our Rotational Program.

The International Market Development Specialist will have the opportunity to learn HLIs products and process through hands-on training in our Rotational Program which consists of different functional rotations, including the following:

• Customer Service
• Order Entry
• Quotations
• Technical Services / Warranty
• Marketing
• Sales

Duration in each rotation will depend heavily on successful completion of assigned projects, as well as, learning and mastery of the required skills. Each rotation will also include projects specific to the sales organization. Upon completion of this rotational program, successful candidates will be placed into a permanent International Sales role.

Responsibilities after completion of Rotational Program include:

• Responsible for international sales and sales coordination for the full line of product application development / sales / and installation for HLI products or services
• Responsible for coordination of international sales programs and ensuring successful planning at both the representative and wholesaler level
• Serve as point of contact for agents and distributors for international sales related activity and as a driver of international agent sales activities of HLI C&I brands
• Work with other HLI disciplines to resolve commercial disputes, such as warranty claims, credit issues, product expedites, etc when necessary to insure that HLI maintains an acceptable market position
• Provide technical services / sales or presentation during the pre-bid
• Coordinate international sales related projects
• Responsible for achieving or exceeding sales budgets assigned individually by the brands, and/or collectively by the company for both international sales and/or other measures as needed to complete the project
• Implement all marketing or other programs and new product introductions as required within the time frame allowed
• Complete monthly reports and special assignments on or before due dates
• Maintain satisfactory call frequencies with all major international customer responsibilities as identified by HLI
• Develop expertise in the products and systems represented in order to act as a resource for agencies in training and making joint calls with other sales representatives and in helping close orders and/or specifications
• Work in conjunction with other HLI personnel as necessary to secure orders
• Act as an international resource for training on the appropriate products or services with personnel, as necessary

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• BS/BA in International Business, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or other Industrial or Engineering Management disciplines preferred. MBA is a plus
• International training, education, internships, study abroad or experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lighting application software as needed
• Excellent organizational and time management skills are required
• Previous sales presentation skills are a plus, excellent oral and written communication skills are a must
• Must be a self-starter and highly motivated

Additional Information:60-80% regional overnight travel (primarily Monday through Friday) is required in an International Sales role, however, the Rotational Program is conducted in our Greenville, SC offices.
