Position Overview:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide day-to-day general administrative and clerical support for the Human Resources Managers of Killark and Wiegmann sites to meet organizational objectives. This includes the coordination and timely processing of new and present employee information, benefits, pay, attendance, promotions, terminations, transfers, into the appropriate software programs, for all salaried and bargaining unit employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Benefits of Choice program, including employee meetings, distribution of subject material, and verification of employee participation.
  • Complete all necessary forms on employees for short term disability, HIPAA, FMLA, change of family status for benefits, Worker`s Compensation injuries, through interaction with affected employees.
  • Complete Personnel Action Forms for new hires and any present employee changes, with appropriate signatures, for processing in SAP.
  • Coordinate and confirm non-exempt and hourly paid employee work-time information and pay is processed in eTime.
  • Gather and maintain data for all regulatory reports including EEOC, Vets, and Workers Compensation.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Coordinate and validate ISO training completion on new and transferred employees.
  • Validate employee information changes in ADP (payroll), BenefitFocus (benefits), and T.Rowe Price (401k).

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate`s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Bachelor`s Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum two years Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Position Competencies: Proficient in SAP or other HRIS software, Microsoft Office products, ADP Payroll/eTime systems.
  • General understanding of all aspects and administration of the HR support function including policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing and ISO program and Kaizen principles, a plus.
  • Able to support and interact professionally with all employees whether plant employee or management.
