Description:
Kim Lighting and Architectural Area Lighting are two of the leading manufacturers of architectural outdoor luminaries and are part of Hubbell Lighting, Inc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the overall management of the Quality Assurance and Warranty Services functions for both the Kim Lighting and Architectural Area brands of Hubbell Lighting, Inc. Will supervise and direct the daily activities of the Warranty Services Department to ensure timely and complete resolution of field warranty issues. Will also supervise and direct the daily activities of the Quality Assurance Department to identify and reduce defects in our products and services. Will implement proactive actions and events to identify and implement opportunities for quality and consistency improvement in products and services.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Science preferred. Minimum of 10 years combined experience in quality and warranty services management required and 3 years in total quality management required. Must be a fluent practitioner of current quality methodologies and have experience working in a flow manufacturing environment. Must have the ability to read engineering drawings, bills of materials and specifications. Experience with UL, CSA and/or ETL certification required.
