Job Description
Hubbell Lighting Inc. is a leading US manufacturer of quality residential, commercial and industrial lighting fixtures. Kurt Versen Company, a Hubbell Lighting company, currently seeks an experienced individual to join our engineering team.
Description:
In this role, you will work with Brand Management, Operations, Marketing and Sales to establish and evaluate design concepts for manufactured and/or supplied products, coordinating the look, function and commonality of parts within various product lines. Will involve direction and coordination of the fabrication of models and samples, including drafting of working and final drawings, specification sheets, and bills of materials.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will possess knowledge of AutoCad 2009, Autodesk Inventor 3D basic electrical principles, UL procedures, lighting fundamentals, optical design, sheet metal & other manufacturing methods. Must be able to supervise and lead others. Must have excellent visualization & communication skills, with the ability to translate concepts into accurate drawings. A minimum of 5 years of experience designing lighting fixtures is desired. A BSME is preferred.
